THE PLAY

Synopsis: Literally, Rory’s dad was a geography teacher. But at heart, she knows he was an intrepid explorer. When he dies suddenly, Rory knows he needs to make one last expedition. With Dad’s ashes at her side, Rory sets off in the footsteps of all the dead beardy explorers before her, to get Dad to the North Pole…before Mum finds out they’ve gone.

THE ROLE

Rory – female identifying, age 15. We are considering adult actors only, with experience. As this is a one-person play, an actor with strong memorization skills is required. We encourage all qualified artists to submit, and will be prioritizing audition slots for BIPOC artists.
